The installation ironically subverts the concept of an “artist-in-residence”, shedding light on an intimate side of the urban artist's life—a lifestyle that appears glamorous, nomadic, and thrilling on the surface, but demands real sacrifices in relationships, friendships, and personal space.
The scaffold, a faithful companion to the urban artist, is transformed into a functional home equipped with all the basic necessities for survival. The true "artist residency" often consists of days on end spent atop a scaffold, in the pouring rain or under a blazing sun, all to leave a creative legacy for a city and its community.

L'installazione distorce ironicamente il concetto di "residenza d'artista" e sottolinea un aspetto intimo della vita dell'artista urbano, una vita apparentemente affascinante, itinerante e ricca di emozioni. Ma in realtà tutto questo implica sacrifici nelle relazioni, nelle amicizie e nei propri spazi privati. L'impalcatura, fedele compagna dell'artista urbano, diventa una vera e propria casa con tutto l'essenziale per viverci.
La cosiddetta "residenza d'artista" spesso consiste in interi giorni spesi sul trabattello, sotto la pioggia o il sole a picco, per lasciare un contributo artistico alla città ed alla sua comunità.
