Project presented at "Ephemeralism" Solo Show - Milan, 2014 / 30 x 30 x 30 cm - asbestos - mixed media
To address the uncomfortable subject of asbestos and the devastating illnesses caused by its inhalation, the artist encases an engagement ring in raw asbestos, presenting it inside the classic packaging of a fine piece of jewelry.
In contemporary society, the core values of "life" and "health" are frequently overshadowed by trivial needs and material desires—precisely because their worth cannot be measured in carats.
The result is a tragic version of "Eternal Love": a vow tied permanently to a deadly disease.

Per affrontare lo scomodo tema dell'amianto e delle malattie che porta la sua inalazione l'artista riveste di amianto un anello di fidanzamento per poi presentarlo con il classico packaging utilizzato per i gioielli preziosi.
Nella società contemporanea spesso il concetto di "vita" e di "salute" vengono messi in secondo piano per necessità più o meno futili anche perché tali valori non possono essere quantificati in carati.
Il risultato è il nascere di un Amore Eterno, nei confronti di un malattia mortale.
